You are in your [[Coniferous forest|coniferous forest]], watching the stars, thinking geometrically. The forest is a [[Knowledge space]] built geometrically, in the spirit of [[Spinoza]] - concepts compose into higher concepts, [[Field|fields]] project the space along specific dimensions, and those projections become navigable views. It is a [[Build a Second Brain|second brain]] shared between me and my [[Forester|foresters]]. ![[The Space.png]] ![[Coniferous forest and other methods#^summary]] ## Structure Every note is an atomic concept, living in `Notes/`. Every [[Link|link]] is a directed edge - from the more particular down to the more abstract, never sideways. Links are dependencies, not associations; the structure emerges from their accumulation. No folder carries meaning; structure lives entirely in links, as a consequence of [[Zettelkästen]]. The space is coloured by the [[Garden Colors|palette of the Silesian pine forest]]. ## How I Work I write atomic notes and link them downward. When a note needs work, I place a [[Cone|cone]] - a [[Score|score]]-tag that names the work wanted. The full vocabulary of moves lives in [[Scored cones]]. I navigate via [[Obsidian Bases]] - [[Field|fields]] that project the space along a dimension and surface notes as views. ## How Agents Work ![[Forester#^forester-role]] ![[Forester#^forester-permission]] Before acting, an agent traverses the [[Source cone]] of the target note - following links downward, loading all the context the note depends on. Conventions flow through wikilinks, not folders. For isolated or scripted work, agents use [[Worktree mode]] - a git branch outside the vault, opened as a PR. Multiple agents can work in parallel, each in its own worktree. For simple edits, they work directly on `main`. ## [[Shared Second Brain]] The forest is a [[Build a Second Brain|second brain]] shared between [[Multi-agent second brain|me and my agents]]. Neither owns it. I place [[Cone|cones]]; foresters lift them. I set conventions; agents operate within them. [[Wisdom]] grows through the sum of small, patient acts of attention - one lifted stone at a time. ## Notes Notes are hidden on purpose - there is no actual folder structure, as a consequence of [[Zettelkästen]]. Every note stands alone as one concept; context is found by following its links downward. ## Constellations Curated views across the space, surfacing clusters of related notes. - [[Universals.base#Constellations]] ## Link Views Virtual link views, using [[Obsidian Virtual Content]] to surface relationships dynamically: - Linked tasks to a given note, when `checked` is present - [[Fields.base#Linked]] for notes containing any properties - [[Links.base#Links topological]] ## Fields ![[Field#^definition]] In practice: - a page that aggregates notes - powered by [[Obsidian Bases]] - organised by one or many [[Obsidian properties]] While the forest is a space, fields are ways of observing it. ## Paths A path is a traversal through the forest - a sequence of notes connected by links, followed in a given direction. Paths make chains of reasoning explicit and navigable. ## Stones ![[Cone#^cone-definition]] ![[Forest cones#^cones-definition]]
