I had a problem with linking sources in terms of [[Knowledge base HAS to be directed graph]] and [[Arrow of information]], as there are such options:
- make a reference a file, and then
- it links all content (as a composition, but not a source actually)
- it is linked by content, but practically is an empty file with reference link
- **using just [[Obsidian footnotes]], without cataloging sources**
I was using an example of [[Alex Ewerlöf]] resources and notes like e.g. [[Broken ownership]], and how to split the concept, the article and which references which:

I chose finally the last option due to 2 reasons:
- I'm not actually such interested in cataloging others resources (I'm interested in cataloging my resources and understanding of others)
- there is a big conflict how to treat resources (from my perspective as a source, but it is just placeholder and linking counter, or by a composition, but this is the author perspective) - I'm interested in my perspective so understanding the subject (then I create a file), or just a link (then footnote)
